In the Midst of Night, Walking Alone by Joshie

Here, I add another poem of mine to the collection, enjoy~ For one to feel, it is bliss~

In you, I sense loss, grief,

and sadness.

However, you are not in despair,

but it still hurts.

I know, trust me, I know exactly

what you feel.

But just know that you are not alone.

I wish you would slow down that

lightning pace of yours, and take a moment

to smell the flowers dancing in the breeze.

I wish you wouldn’t hold back

your golden tears when your own flesh and blood

dehumanizes you.

I wish you will come to know yourself

someday, on a much deeper level,

when the sun sets and neon lights blaze,

a tiny singular room of acceptance, support,

and love, unconditional love.

But most of all,

I wish you happiness,

that you will never look back,

and always feel the warmth of the

sun’s rays on your illuminating face,

running with joy in a field of flowers,

forever.
